Hoping for a little bit of luck?

Christmas is over and I'm severely craving some chex!

Here's the perfect St. Patrick's day treat to soothe that craving for sweet chex craving.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups plain chex mix
  • 1 Cup pretzels (twists, sticks or minis)
  • 1 Cup Lucky Charms cereal
  • 1 Cup green candy covered chocolates (we used green M&M's)
  • 12 oz. white chocolate
  • 1 tsp. sugar (use green sanding sugar if possible)

Instructions

  • Mix all of the dry ingredients (chex mix, Lucky Charms, preztels and green chocolate candies) in a large mixing bowl.

  • Prep a vessel with parchment paper. This should be able to fit in your fridge or freezer. If you have the room use a large baking sheet.

  • Melt the white chocolate. You can do this over a double boiler (using a heat safe bowl and pot of bowling water) or you can microwave the chocolate in 20 sec intervals until it is fully melted and runny enough to pour

  • Pour the melted white chocolate into the bowl of your dry ingredients. Mix well and then pour the mixture into the vessel with parchment paper

  • Freeze the tray of your mixture for about 20 minute. If placing in the refrigerator, this might take longer to completely firm up

  • ENJOY.
