Hoping for a little bit of luck?
Christmas is over and I'm severely craving some chex!
Here's the perfect St. Patrick's day treat to soothe that craving for sweet chex craving.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Cups plain chex mix
- 1 Cup pretzels (twists, sticks or minis)
- 1 Cup Lucky Charms cereal
- 1 Cup green candy covered chocolates (we used green M&M's)
- 12 oz. white chocolate
- 1 tsp. sugar (use green sanding sugar if possible)
Instructions
Mix all of the dry ingredients (chex mix, Lucky Charms, preztels and green chocolate candies) in a large mixing bowl.
Prep a vessel with parchment paper. This should be able to fit in your fridge or freezer. If you have the room use a large baking sheet.
Melt the white chocolate. You can do this over a double boiler (using a heat safe bowl and pot of bowling water) or you can microwave the chocolate in 20 sec intervals until it is fully melted and runny enough to pour
Pour the melted white chocolate into the bowl of your dry ingredients. Mix well and then pour the mixture into the vessel with parchment paper
Freeze the tray of your mixture for about 20 minute. If placing in the refrigerator, this might take longer to completely firm up
ENJOY.
